Obituary of Roy Emr

Roy Emr, of Lake Hopatcong, passed away Sunday September 30, 2012, at Kindred Hospital, Dover. He was 62. Born in Woodridge, he was a lifelong resident of Lake Hopatcong. He was a builder/excavator with Aaron Excavating in Jefferson. A man who was very proud of his service to his country, Roy served in the United States Marine Corps beginning in 1969 where he was promoted to Sergeant status before he was honorably discharged in 1975. Beloved husband of Joyce (nee: Heath), devoted father of Roy Emr and his wife, Diane and Theresa Emr-Sherwood and her husband, Ian and loving grandfather of JR and Luke Emr and Lily Sherwood.
