Obituary of Theresa N. Benson

Theresa Nancy Benson of Landing, NJ passed away on Sunday August 5, 2012 after a long illness. She passed away peacefully with her friends and family at her home, She was 66 years old. She was born in Paterson, NJ to her parents Henry and Mary Faber who predecease her. She grew up in Haledon, NJ and attended public school, graduated and received her degrees in teaching and speech therapy from William Paterson College. She went on with teaching for several years, then worked as an administrative assistant to many different companies. She moved to Landing, NJ years later where she resided with her family until her passing She enjoyed knitting and cross stitch. She also enjoyed westerns of all kinds and was an avid movie and trivia buff. The thing she enjoyed the most was her beautiful grandchildren. She is survived by her two sons, Michael Piccitto of Landing, and Matthew Benson of Andover. Her two daughter in laws Christine Piccitto and Dana Benson. She had 4 wonderful granddaughters: Casey Piccitto, Mary Piccitto, Taylor Benson and Nicole Benson. A memorial lunch to remember her by will be held at the Mount Arlington Elks, 201 Howard Blvd, Mt. Arlington, NJ on Saturday September 1, 2012 from 1pm-5pm. All who would like to just talk and remember Theresa are welcome to join us.
