My prayers go out to Betty's family. A terrible loss. Although I haven't seen the family in many years, back in the day we were close. Our children spent many a day at aunt Joann and uncle Richard's house. I still use ' Betty's oatmeal cookie receipt.' All good memories. I wish her family a peaceful heart during this sad time.

To Betty's family,
This is Karyn Lanna I lived on Summit Avenue with Betty for all my school years. I remember spending many a day in both houses having fun. At the Coseglia's house I remember the smell of something baking and/or cooking. I also remember watching Dark Shadows. I remember a party that she had in 8th grade that I was afraid to go to, shy I guess, but she relentlessly called me and convinced me to go. I did and had a great time. Betty I wish we kept in touch more often but I was great seeing you at the reunion. Rest in peace my friend.

There are so many but I will always remember how she came in to help me in the infant room.I will always remember her love for her little girls at the center especially Jillian Lopez. I will always remember how quickly and beautifully she could put crafts together & how she did all the centerpieces at Cate ' s wedding. I worked across from her for so long & she helped me get through many a day.

Liz was such a beautiful person, a loving Mom and Grandmother. We spent many hours enjoying our grandchildren together, singing them songs. Her laughter was infectious and she was such a pleasure to be around. To be taken so early, I can only think that God needed one more angel in heaven. My heart is so broken for John and my daughter Nicole, Catie and Chris, John's Dad PoppaJ and the rest of the family. She will be sorely missed.

I'm so sorry to hear about Liz's passing. I have such fond memories of her from when we worked together at the Honeywell CDC. May your family find comfort in her memories during this difficult time.
