Obituary of Barbara Ausmus

Barbara Ausmus, of Hopatcong, passed away on Sunday June 15 at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare's, Dover. She was 63. Born in Hackensack, Barbara has resided in Hopatcong for most of her life. She worked as retail manager in the cosmetics and jewelry department of Lord and Taylor in Rockaway. In addition to being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Barbara's greatest joy was spending time with family, especially her two granddaughters. She will also be missed by her loving dogs. Barbara was an active participant with the Bridgeway Community Program of Newton. Loving wife of the late David, beloved mother of Jay and wife Jeanine and Christina Marie, adoring grandmother of Madelyn and Haylee and dearest sister of Linda Khalek and husband Bari. Funeral arrangements are private.
