Ralph and I worked together at Willis & Paul. He was a founding member of "The Super Hot Dog Association" which was a group of past-their-prime athletes that competed at different events. Ralph was the a Super Hot Dog Champion and an inductee into the Super Hot Dog Association Hall of Fame. We played together on a Morris County Softball Championship Team. I had heard his nickname was Hawk. I always referred to him as "The Incredible Hawk". It was my pleasure to have known, worked and played with him. He will be sorely missed - yet ever so fondly remembered. May God Bless you - "The Incredible Hawk" and your family. With love - Rich Jackson

Across the morning sky, all the birds are leaving. Ah, how do they know when it's time to go. Who knows where the time goes? Who knows where the time goes.
Wasn't it just yesterday, Hawk, when you and I were young and could talk and laugh all day long while fishing in that boat in Canada? How about if you start planning another trip back to Charleston Lake for us . . if you think it will be ok with Theresa!
Ralph, you are one in a million, and will always be a part of me.

My sympathy to Theresa and the family. I worked with Ralph at Willis & Paul and at Watkins Engineers. Ralph was an excellent designer and a good friend, his sense of hummer always brightened my day. I will miss him and remember the good times.

Ralph my dear friend, I am going to miss you so bad. I am going to miss our visits everytime I come up from Florida to visit my sister. Theresa and family, I am so sorry for your lose and I am even more sorry that I can't get up there to pay my respects to Ralph and you all. I like so many other friends loved Ralph a lot. I tell everyone in Florida when I talk about Ralph about the time I stayed over night when we were teenagers. After Marty was asleep, Ralph and I went down stairs to the sweat shop with two big bowls. We flipped open all of the ice cream conpartments in the cooler and filled the bowls with ice cream. Then we hit all of the toppings and whip cream. Then back up stairs to watch some more horror shows on TV, I have tons of stories that we shared but I love that one the most. I sure am going to miss you my friend.

My brothers were two of the finest people on this earth. I can't believe how fortunate I was to have them as my mentors. As difficult as it is without them, I know they are in a far better place. Ralph and Paul are fishing,my mother is preparing one of her epic meals, and Vera is making Dusty Roads. My love to all.

Ralph and I hung around quite a bit. I was a little older then him, but we always had a great time. Fishing in the old Morris Canal. I was always welcome at his home, and spent many hours just sitting in the store. He and his family were the finest people you would ever know. My condolences to the family, and rest in peace my old friend.

I am so sorry about Ralph, but I can't help but have only happy memories at this time, for he and your whole family were just some of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I have so many funny memories of the times "Aunt Jan" and I would be at your house, "babysitting" the boys. Sometimes you guys made me laugh 'til I cried! I remember meeting Ralph when I was an itty-bitty little girl, cuz he worked with my Dad and they've known each other FOREVER. He was a kind man who loved his family and I pray for you all at this time.

Theresa and entire D'Olivo Family - What a lovely man Ralph was. Always always smiling or reaching out his arms to say "Hello". I will always remember from the time my parents would let me walk down the street in Stanhope alone around 9 or 10 I guess and we always bugged the "D'Olivos in the store or her home - but Ralph and Paul growing up with us and the entire family were always such gracious, kind, caring and happy people. All of them always welcoming you into their lives. Rare to find that in many but they were down right good people. Ralph you struggled, you fought, now my dear dear friend you are resting peacefully. God Bless you Ralph. I loved the "D'OLIVOS" and shall always always remember you. Love MaryAnn and Bob Borzomati xo

Ralph was my neighbor and one of my earliest heroes. He was one of the 'big kids'. He'd hit rocks across the Morris Canal with a taped up baseball bat on summer evenings and today, every time I hit a golf ball, I think of those times. We'd ride in the back of Marty's friend's pick-up truck all the way to Hackettstown to visit the fish hatchery and I felt like I was a grown-up teenager when I was still not yet 10. God Bless Ralph and Paul and Marty and Vera and Rest in Peace.

For the 40+ years I have known Ralph I don't ever remember him without a smile on his face....even with everything he was going through over the past several years. He was always so warm and funny and always made me feel welcome in his house and I was there A LOT as a kid. My parents adored him as much as my brothers and sister did. He was truly one of a kind. Rest in Peace Hawk, I Love You and when you sit down to play cards and listen to 50s music with my Dad, tell him I Love Him Too
