Obituary of Ellen Talmadge

Ellen Talmadge, of Landing, passed away Friday May 25, 2012 at Morristown Medical Center. She was 79. Born on May 30, 1932 in Jefferson Township to the late James and Ellen (Pulis) Dunn, Ellen resided in the Sparta and Byram area for many years before moving to the Landing section of Roxbury 15 years ago. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband Lester, her six children Lester Talmadge and wife Eleanor, Gary Talmadge, Ellen Steffens and husband Gary, Cheryl Henry, Linda Talmadge and Brenda D'Argenio and husband Fred, 26 grandchildren including Matthew Talmadge whom Ellen played a large part in raising, Zackery, Justin and Kerynn with whom Ellen spent a great deal of time with. Also surviving are 22 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. Dear sister of Lois Smith and husband Don, Clinton Dunn and Jimmy Dunn.
