Obituary of Patricia A. Menagh

Patricia A. Menagh, of Stanhope, passed away Sunday May 20 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville surrounded by her loving family. She was 73. Born in Morristown on February 1, 1939 to the late Joseph and Marie (Fasano) Ohlweiler, Pat grew up in Morris Plains and was a graduate of Bayley-Ellard High School in Madison. She has resided in Stanhope for over 50 years. Pat volunteered her time as a pet therapy handler through Bright and Beautiful, she enjoyed doll making and loved gardening and was in school to obtain her master gardener certificate. Pat and her dog, Jake made many visits to Merry Heart and Morris View nursing homes to cheer up residents. She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Stanhope. Devoted mother of Debbie Goodman, Mary Jeanne O'Grady and husband Terry, Richard Menagh, Jr., Theresa Williams and husband Paul, James Menagh and wife Barbara and her beloved son and her best friend Michael Menagh. Loving grandmother of Sarah Goodman, Christopher O'Grady, Allison Menagh, Tanya O'Grady, Mark Goodman, Bryan O'Grady, Stephanie Menagh, Andrew Goodman, Joseph Menagh, Erik Williams and Patrick Menagh. Adoring great grandmother of Nevaeh Robinson and Kaylee Goodman with a third great grandchild "on the way". Dearest sister of Jeanne Sauer and husband Paul and Joseph Ohlweiler and wife Sheila. Beloved aunt of twelve nieces and nephews. A true friend to so many people that will deeply miss her.
