Obituary of Kathryn E. Lombardi

Kathryn E. Lombardi, of the Kenvil section of Roxbury, passed away on Wednesday January 21, 2015 at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 88. Born in Kansas on March 18, 1926 to the late Nicholas and Barbara Stadler, Kathryn moved to Netcong, NJ and has resided in Kenvil for over 60 years. She was employed at Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway for 25 years before retirement. Kathryn enjoyed sewing, knitting and cooking, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Devoted wife of the late Philip (1998), beloved mother of Theresa Dulio, loving grandmother of Michael Dulio and Kevin Dulio and his wife, Cheryl, adoring great grandmother of Angelina Cathryn and dearest sister of Irene Mader and husband, Don. Kathryn was predeceased by 16 brothers and sisters. Kathryn's Life Celebration will include visiting on Sunday January 25 from 3-7 PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A Liturgy of Christian burial will be offered on Monday January 26 beginning at 10:00 am at St. Therese Church, 151 Main Street, Succasunna. Kathryn will be laid to rest at Stanhope Union Cemetery immediately following Mass.
