Obituary of Beatrice Curtis

Beatrice "Bea": (nee: Dunbaden) Curtis of Lake Hopatcong passed away Wednesday May 2, 2012 at home. She was 76. Born in New York State, she lived in Manchester NY before moving to Lake Hopatcong 53 years. A registered nurse, Bea worked for the East Orange General Hospital in East Orange and then for Dr. M. Amr in South Orange prior to her retirement in 1995. She received a Master of Arts from Columbia University and then her RN from Keuka College in Ovid NY. One of the founders and secretary for many years of the New Jersey Lakeland Snowmobile Association, she enjoyed card playing, especially with Jeffrey and Roberta Yegidis. Beloved wife of the late Richard A. "Dick" (2009). Devoted mother of Dawn L. Woodward and her husband Woody and Dr. Dean Curtis and his wife Kristen. Cherished grandmother of Kayla.
