Obituary of Vito J. Lupo

Vito J. Lupo, 89, of Landing, passed away Thursday April 12, 2012 at the House of the Good Shepard, in Hackettstown. Born in Brooklyn NY, he and his late wife Rose (nee: Livoti) raised their family in Brooklyn, and later moved to NJ before finally residing in Landing with his son Bill and grandsons. He entered the army during WWII and served in the Air Corp in Bari, Italy. Vito was the owner of Leathercraft Upholstery in Mine Hill. He enjoyed being an amateur radio operator (call sign WS2P) and was a member of the Roxbury Senior Citizens Club. Vito is survived by his son Charles and his wife Denise, son Anthony and family, and son Bill. Beloved grandchildren, Nicole, Chuck, William, James and Robert. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the entombment of Vito's cremated remains on Tuesday April 17, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Good Shepard Catholic Cemetery, Green Twp. All invited are to meet directly at the cemetery.
