Obituary of Nancy Callahan

Nancy Callahan of the Budd Lake section of Mt. Olive Township passed away on Wednesday January 14, 2015 at Morristown Medical Center after a very recent cancer diagnosis. She was 67. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, Nancy graduated from Parsippany High School and spent her life in New Jersey. She was employed as an office manager for One Flight UP Design in Boonton and enjoyed her part-time job at Home Goods in Budd Lake for over a decade. Nancy was an adventurous cook, enjoyed cross-stitch, had a green thumb and created an inviting environment wherever she hung her hat. Loving mother and best friend of her daughter, Morgan Callahan, beloved daughter of Shirley (Stahr) Acla and dearest sister of Marjorie List, Kim Giacomini, Lynne Song and Robin Stannard. Nancy was predeceased by her father Gerald Acla. Nancy's Life Celebration will include visiting on Saturday January 17 from 3-7 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered on Sunday January 18 beginning at 10:30 am, also at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
