Obituary of Lillian S. Molitoris

Lillian Molitoris joined her Lord and her beloved husband of 57 years Andrew "Moe" on April 3, 2012. She was also reunited with her angels Patrick Walsh (son-in-law) and Patrick Walsh Jr. (grandson). Lil was born in Passiac, NJ in 1928. She was raised in Hasbrouck Heights along with her sister Elenore by her beloved parents William and Emma. She moved to the Landing section of Roxbury in 1959 where she resided till her passing. Before reentering the workforce in 1991, Lil spent her time raising her daughters, providing a home to all who entered, and volunteering for many organizations. In 1991 she began working for Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital's Volunteer Services department, where she became the Director. After retirement she continued to volunteer at the Greystone Park Association where she had a special relationship with the clients. Lil was also a charter member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Succasunna. She enjoyed being a member of the Roxbury Senior Citizens, dining with her lifelong friend Pam, and going to the casinos. She prided herself on her independence. Lil will be missed by her daughters: Leslie Walsh from Landing with whom she lived, Lori Baker and her husband Mark of Succasunna, and Lee Blackburn and her husband Bill of Rockton, Il. She will be missed and always adored by her grandchildren: Alison Walsh (and her fiancé Chip Galbraith) of Jefferson, Michael and Kevin Baker of Succasunna, Drew Blackburn of Seattle, WA. and Maggie and Christian of Rockton, Il. Also surviving are a nephew George and numerous nieces. Lil also will be missed by her grand kitty Ozzy and her grand puppies Schatzee and Oscar
