Obituary of Glenn Marsh

Glenn Marsh, Sr. passed away Saturday March 17 at Merry Heart Health Care Center in Succasunna, NJ. He was 74. Born in Dover to the late William & Viola (Morris) Marsh, Glenn resided in Mt. Olive Township, NJ prior to relocating to Hackettstown over 40 years ago. He was a US Army medic stationed in Germany during his enlistment. Glenn worked as a conductor for NJ Transit on the Gladstone/Hoboken line and retired after 37 years of service. He thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing and working in his yard. Glenn loved animals, especially dogs and was particularly fond of "Duke" and "Sam", the last two dogs he owned. In addition to his parents, Glenn was predeceased by a sister, Arlene Smith and a brother, William D. Marsh. Devoted husband of Margaret (Conn), beloved father of Glenn Marsh Jr. and wife Carla and David Marsh, stepfather of Foster Cramer and companion Grace and John Cramer, dearest brother of a sister Janice Gaynor and two brothers, Paul and wife Valerie and Lynn and companion Charleen, brother in law of Charlotte Marsh. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
