Obituary of Helen Marie Caparelli

Helen Marie (nee: Baker) Caparelli of Hopatcong passed away Sunday February 26, 2012 at Merry Heart Care Center in Succasunna where she spent her final years. She was 89. Born on April 1, 1922 in Delmont PA, she was the daughter of William and Catharin Baker of Delmont,PA. There were six children in the family. She was married to Ralph M. Caparelli in 1941. Married for almost 50 years Ralph passed away in 1992. Helen worked in a factory in New York while Ralph served in the Army during World War II. She lived in Jamaica New York and Ralph and her spent their summers in Hopatcong. When Ralph passed away she moved to the summer home where she lived for 15 years. Devoted mother of Elizabeth and her husband John Mauro. Cherished grandmother of Andrew and his wife Michelle Mauro. Loving great grandmother of Kristie Marie and Todd Mauro. Dear aunt of several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Graveside Funeral Service on Friday March 2 at 12:00PM at the St. Mary Star of the Sea Cemetery, 201 Rockaway Tpke, Lawrence, NY 11559. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made directly to the family.
