Obituary of William Bartley

William "Billy" Bartley, of Hopatcong, passed away on Wednesday June 4, 2014 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 61. Born in New York City, Billy was employed as a shop steward and crane operator for Cooper Electric in Brooklyn, NY. Billy enjoyed hiking, especially at the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. He was an avid TV watcher and enjoyed many shows on the History and Travel Channels. Beloved father of Barbara Matos and spouse, Jose, Lora Bettencourt and spouse, Paul, Brittnie Bartley and Billy Bartley, Loving son of Marion Bartley and the late William H. Bartley, dear brother of Robert Bartley and spouse, Insoon and adoring grandfather of Ethan Bettencourt and Layla Matos. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to celebrate Billy's life on Saturday June 7 from 2-5 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, Landing. A prayer service will be offered at 4:00 pm at the funeral home.
