Kelvin,
You will always be remembered. We had so many good times as kids. You, Tommy, Wayne and myself would walk around the town for hours. We would walk and talk and walk and talk and somehow always managed to get back home around 5:00 PM. This would happen almost every day in the summer time and sometimes on the other breaks throughout the school year. You always said we should stick together, that no one could beat us if we were united. We were a united front, the Edwards Clan; we were ready to take on all comers. When we were growing up you were a Giant and a Protector of us. It was like having a personal bodyguard. I will never forget those times and the impact it had on my outlook on life. Things were much simpler then.
You were a kind and caring person, even as the years past and everyone went there separate ways, you still found time to help. We were able to pickup as if time had never passed and it was like we were kids again walking aimlessly down the path of life walking for hours and hours.
I pray that you found peace and comfort. You were truly a rare and valuable person.
May God bless and keep you safe.
Patrick

From Margaret,Brenda's God Mother
God always rejoices when one of his saints come home, to live in eternity with him and never more to roam.He lets you make decisions,he lets you lead your life,then when it's time to leave this world,you have to live for Christ.He's living on forever with his Savior and his King,it's the love for Jesus,it's all he had to bring.We can not predict the future,or whatever we will do,but looking forth to heaven,the sunlight will shine through.The saints will all be singing,rejoicing in the Lord,they'll be a place for everyone,we'll be in one accord.They'll be forever beauty,the streets are paved with gold.The gates will shine with pearls so bright,and you never will grow old.We've really reached the Promised Land,where he will gently take your hand.He just wants to forgive your sin,before he takes you to dwell with Him.
Bless all

To be "absent from the body" is to be "present with the Lord" (2 Cor. 5:8). This is the clearest of truths in the mind of Paul, and one of the most comforting assurances for the child of God. Death for the Christian is not so much an exit out of life as it is an entry into the Lord's presence in a very personal sense.
God Bless You All who loved Kelvin who loved Brenda!

Kelvin, God looked around His garden, and found an empty place, he then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest, God's garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb, so He closed your weary eyelids and whispered "Peace be thine". It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go alone, for part of us went with you the day God called you home...Irish proverb in passing. Although our time was brief, I knew your pain. So long for now my friend.

Kelvin I am going to miss you...We only had a short time together and you and I had so much fun. I will always remember you as my fun uncle. From your one and only nephew we will have to cherish the times we had and you will always have a place in my heart. I keep your picture close to me when I sleep. Dad moved it from my dresser to my night table. I am too young to know great loss; but for me you were great and now I am feeling that something was taken away but don't understand why... I am sending you a picture of the two of us in my pool last summer when we both had smiles and laughs. I wish I was older than 6 so we could have had more time for memories. Dad has said to me that sometimes people go away for reasons that we can't explain. I will now say goodbye and ask you to come visit me at my home from time to time. You know where I live and my room is the one with the night light that shines the universe on the ceiling.
Love,
Your one and only nephew Max

In A Better Place
by Jayme Wilson
I ponder far too often what has brought me to this place,
I find myself in endless loop, alone while questions race.
How many lessons on this Earth am I required to learn,
and just how many points is it that I'm supposed to earn?
I watch the insignificance of daily life unfurl,
Forsaken to the sidelines, looking in upon the world.
I see the plastic people move about their daily lives;
their motions seem mechanical, as though they're not alive.
I find I try to blend into this awkward mortal realm,
Performing for an audience … my senses overwhelm;
Synthetic shell in turmoil - I pretend that I'm alright,
I hide all my frustrations and I slowly lose the fight.
An emptiness has followed me relentlessly it seems,
a void that swallows all my passion … all my hopes and dreams;
its heaviness unyielding, builds restrictions and confines,
to keep me in this self-inflicted prison of my mind.
Surrounded by my chaos, isolated by my fears,
the questions haunt my peace of mind, bringing me to tears.
I wonder if it's only me … a flaw in my design,
Unable to enjoy the simple pleasures others find.
Incapable of breaking free, suppressing what I can,
I play the part of someone else … I smother who I am;
I'm stifled by the walls I've built, and slowly suffocate …
I pray to God you'll understand and I decide my fate.
Please know it's not your fault and I'm sorry for your pain,
Just think of all the good things in the memories that remain.
I loved you all, don't cry for me; I'm in a better place
I'll be around in spirit
There's some things you can't erase...
