Obituary of Charles R. Smith

Charles R. Smith, of Budd Lake, NJ, died Monday February 20 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. He was 82. Born in Suffern, NY, Charles resided in Rock Tavern, NY prior to moving to the Budd Lake section of Mt. Olive Twp., NJ six years ago. He was a United States Navy veteran and served during the Korean War from 1948-1952. Charles worked as an Automotive Parts Manager at Sears in Nanuet before retiring. He was predeceased by his wife, Janet (Pollack) and a daughter Crystal. Survivors included his daughter Melody Levine and husband Brad, a granddaughter Jade Levine, two sisters Betty Smith and Dolores Harrington and a brother Donnie Smith.
