Obituary of Katherine Marie Garcia

Katherine Marie Garcia died Sunday, January 22 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. She was 72. Born in Astoria, NY to the late George & late Angelina (Lombardi) Stark, Katherine resided in Metuchen, NJ and spent summers at her home on Lake Wallenpaupack in Lakeville, PA. She became a permanent resident at the lake twelve years ago. She worked for Rutgers University in New Brunswick. Katherine loved to cook for all, loved to sing and dance, and her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. Devoted wife of Daniel J.; loving mother of daughters Dana Cox, Nancy Harding, son-in-law David Harding, and daughter Katherine Fern; adoring grandmother of Daniel Cox, Taylor, Chad and Callie Fern, and Grace Harding; dearest sister of Helen Nolan and Theresa Osti and her husband Claudio; and several nieces and nephews.
