Obituary of William F. Chalmers

William F. Chalmers of Port Morris, NJ passed away on Sunday, April 12th at Care One in Whippany, NJ. He was 69. William was born May 21, 1945 in Jersey City, NJ to the late John Chalmers and the late Margaret Brown Seward. He was an electrical engineer with PSE&G for many years before retiring. Bill was a member of the Elks Lodge in Mt. Arlington, NJ; he also enjoyed fishing and shooting. Bill is survived by his devoted daughter, Tracy Ann Feoranz and her husband, Michael, his cherished granddaughter, Mia, and his sisters; Lynn Adair and Nancy Chell. He was pre-deceased by his beloved wife, June in 2009 and his brothers, Robert and Kenneth. Bill's Life Celebration will include visitation on Thursday, April 16th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. There will be a prayer service offered on Friday, April 17th at 10:00 am also at the funeral home. Bill will be laid to rest at the Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mount Olive Twp., NJ.
