We are so sorry to hear about Tommy's passing. Tommy was my father Frank Russo's first cousin; my father was always very fond of Tommy. My mother (Anne Russo) and I each still have miniature grandfather clocks that he made and gave to us.
Please accept our deepest sympathy.
Linda Russo & Anne Russo
(daughter and wife of Frank Russo who passed in 2001.)

My father Sal and Tommy were uncle and nephew, but were more like brothers. They were inseparable for almost 80 years. Tommy was my cousin, but I always considered him my second father. I loved him with all my heart. Everyone who knew him, loved him.We are fortunate in our lives to have met a person like Tommy, and we are all better for it. He is with the Angels now, but he will live in my heart forever.

Tho' I never met this kind gentleman, I have known his daughter Ann for many years...only on the internet. I feel as close to you Ann, as a sister would, and my heart grieves with yours. I know how much you love your parents, and they love you.. it shows in your interaction with others. Take comfort in knowing your beloved Father is now with Laura... now you have 2 Guardian Angels in Heaven. Celebrate a life well lived... a man who loved family, church and country above all else. May God hold you all in His Gentle Hands. With much love and prayers, Cuppy

Dad, I know if you could, these are the words you would be saying to us now:
If I should ever leave you whom I love
To go along the Silent Way,
Grieve not,
Nor speak of me with tears,
But laugh and talk of me as if I were beside you there.
( I'd come - I'd come, could I but find a way!
But would not tears and grief be barriers? )
And when you hear a song
Or see a bird I loved,
Please do not let the thought of me be sad...
For I am loving you just as I always have...
You were so good to me!
There are so many things I wanted still to do -
So many things to say to you...
Remember that I did not fear...
It was Just leaving you that was so hard to face...
We cannot see Beyond...
But this I know:
I love you so -
'twas heaven here with you!
(By "Isla Paschal Richardson")
I will never forget you dad. Until we meet again.
With My Love
Your Daughter

When I think of my cousin Tommy, I always think of a kind, wonderful man who was always ready to help everyone. He was my father Sal's nephew who was 9 years younger than my Dad, so they were extremely close their whole lives and best friends. Tommy and Josie lived right up the hill from my parents and was always there to help my parents whether it was around the house, outside the house, cement work like you can't believe, and then when my parents got older, he was there too to help pay their bills and other things. I feel they don't make men like that anymore, he was just a rock solid man. He loved to joke around at family parties, which were many those many years ago. Oh how we miss those wonderful cherished times with him and the fun we all had. So these are some of the great memories we will keep close to our hearts always. Rest in Peace Tommy. May you be with God and the Angels now. We Love You Very Much.
