Obituary of Richard H. Marino

Richard H. Marino of Hopatcong passed away Wednesday January 11, 2012 at home. He was surrounded by his family. He was 69. Born in New York City he lived in Dumont before moving to Hopatcong 38 years ago. Richard served in the Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis in the early 60's. Prior to his retirement in 2002, he was a senior store keeper for PSE&G in Oradell where he was employed for almost 40 years. Rich was an outdoorsman and enjoyed boating, fishing and golf with family and friends. He was a member of the Knee Deep Club of Lake Hopatcong. Beloved husband of Sharon (nee: Politte). Devoted father of Daniel and Jennifer Marino. Dear brother of Barbara Kenny and Arlene Marino. Loving grandfather of Danny, Robert and Gabriella. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. He was predeceased by his son Richard H. Marino III and grandson Richard H. Marino IV.
