Obituary of Leona Nowatnick

Leona Nowatnick passed away on January 10, 2012 at her daughter's, Kim, home in Rockaway, NJ surrounded by her loved ones. Leona was born in Guttenberg, NJ, she lived in Hopatcong with her husband and children for 56 years. She retired from Howmet Corporation and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Lee loved her grandchildren and was always in attendance at the various sports they participated in whether it was baseball, football, wrestling, soccer or basketball. She was, by far, their biggest fan, not only on the field but in their lives as well. Lee was known for her delicious cooking (especially her Cheesecakes) and there was always room for one more at her table. She was a true friend, always willing to help out in any way she could. Lee was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob. Devoted mother of her four loving children; Gail Lewis and husband Bill, Mary Wallen, Kim Be' and her husband Winston, and son Robert Jr. and his wife Barbara. Dear sister of George Louis. Cherished grandmother of Bill and his wife Aubrey, Lee, Travis, Devin, Brenton, Erin, Colin, Bobby, Kyler, Ally and Maddie and Loving Great-Granddaughter Lilly
