Obituary of Frank Maiello

Frank Maiello of Morristown passed away Thursday January 1, 2015 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover. He was 91. Born in Madison, he lived in Morristown before moving to Lake Hopatcong 1 year ago. A Business Agent/Union Representative with UFCW 464A in Little Falls, Frank was a World War II Army Veteran. A founding member of the Northstar Club in Madison, he enjoyed spending time with family, golfing and horse racing. He is predeceased by his wife Mary Rita Maiello (1960), a daughter Dorothy "Diane" Hanson (2014) a grandson Michael Rooney (1972), 4 brothers: Ralph, Pat, Jay and Joe Maiello and a sister Pauline Conway. He is survived by a daughter Teresa Maiello and a son Patrick Maiello and his wife Diane. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Frank's Life Celebration on Sunday January 4 from 1:00PM to 4:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. A Prayer Service will be held at 3:30PM. Cremation was private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject).
