Obituary of Donald Cardin

Donald Cardin of Hopatcong passed away Saturday May 31, 2014 at home. He was 85. Born in New York City, Donald resided in the Bronx, NY prior to moving to Hopatcong in 1973. He was employed as a truck driver for Yellow Freight in Rockaway until his retirement in 1990. He was an Army veteran from 1947-1949 and a member of Teamster's Local 641. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching baseball and football, reading, crossword puzzles and coin and stamp collecting. Beloved husband of the late Joan M. (nee: Horgan) (2010). Devoted father of Kasey Maranzano and her husband Benjamin, Donald Louis Cardin Jr. and his wife Theresa, James Cardin and his wife Lisa and Teresa Ann Oswin and her husband William. Cherished grandfather of Derek, Kevin, William, Christopher, Donna, Nicholas, James, Analisa, Liam, Kayla, Matthew and Jack.
