Obituary of Rose Sammaro

Rose Sammaro, of Nutley, died Sunday January 8 at Andover Subacute and Rehabilitation Center. She was 95. Born in Bayonne, Mrs. Sammaro resided most of her life in Nutley and Winter Haven, FL. She worked as a technician at Summit Electronics in Newark prior to retirement. She loved cooking, needlepoint and trips to Atlantic City. Mrs. Sammaro was a member of the St. Lucy Sodality of St. Anthony's Church in Belleville and a member of the Belleville Senior Citizens. One of her favorite pastimes was playing cards with relatives and friends. Devoted wife of the late Patsy Sr., loving mother of Barbara Cure Perrin and her husband, Jim, Pat, Jr. and Julia Zickefoose, Robert and his wife, Elaine and the late Dolores Gensiak, adoring grandmother of Cynthia Woods, Thomas Steinmacher, Sheryl Steinmacher, Salvatore Sammaro, Sharon Garber, Pat Sammaro and Peter Sammaro, cherished great grandmother of seven.
