Obituary of John J. Hofmann

John J. "Jack" Hofmann, Sr. of Hopatcong passed away October 18, 2011 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover. He was 82. Born in Carbondale PA, he lived in East Orange before moving to Hopatcong 49 years ago. He was a maintenance supervisor for Breed Corporation in Boonton prior to his retirement in 1996. Jack was a member of the Masonic Lodge #42 in Budd Lake. He enjoyed restoring classic cars, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Beloved husband of Patricia A. (nee: Frost). Devoted father of Timothy P. and his wife Diane and the late John J., Jr. (2005). Dear father-in-law of Maria Hofmann. Loving grandfather of John E. Hofmann and his wife Mara, Tracy M. Hofmann-Roth and her husband Matthew and Timothy P. Hofmann. Dear brother of Mary Brady, James Hofmann and Joseph Hofmann. Cherished great grandfather of Olivia May Roth.
