Obituary of Lois M. Connors

Lois M. Connors died Thursday September 15 at her home in Hopatcong surrounded by her loving family. She was 82. Born in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn, NY, Lois resided in Newark, Irvington, Wharton and Lehighton, PA prior to moving to Hopatcong 4 years ago. She worked as a secretary for Inter-Chemical in Newark and then for Foodtown Supermarket in Wharton. She loved playing bingo and doing crossword puzzles and she was passionate & proficient at both. She had a talent for knitting & crocheting and was a very avid reader. Devoted wife of Vincent, loving mother of Dr. Gregory and his wife Ruth, Lynn Riffel and her husband Peter and Lori Connors Olivo, Esq. and her husband John, adoring grandmother of Claire, Ailish, Thomas, Rachel, Michael, Bryce, Robert and Anthony. Dearest sister of the late Eugene Lindley and sister in law of Gloria Lindley and John, William and Robert Connors.
