Obituary of Richard J. Blesson

Richard J. Blesson, of Byram Township, died Sunday September 11 at Newton Medical Center. He was 73. Born in New York City, Mr. Blesson grew up in the Bronx, NY prior to moving to the Cranberry Lake section of Byram Township over 40 years ago. He worked as a Data Processing Manager for Warner-Lambert in Morris Plains retiring in 1991 after 37 years of service. Mr. Blesson was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed fly fishing, both, the Beaverkill River in Roscoe, NY and the West Branch of the Penobscot River in Millinnocket, ME. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, as well, especially on the "Freddy C" out of Leonardo, NJ. Devoted husband of Ellen (nee, Joseph), loving father of Edward J. Blesson and his wife Lisa Marie of Hackettstown, James R. Blesson and his wife Jo Ann of Byram Township, Maureen Blesson - Pita and her husband Victor of Byram Township and Patricia Parisi of Hackettstown, adoring grandfather of Lauren Ann and Jenna Lynn Blesson, Isabella Pita and Christian and Dante Parisi.
