Obituary of Michael V. Bruggemann

Michael V. Bruggemann of Hopatcong passed away September 10, 2011 at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover. He was 48. Born in Montclair, he lived in Mine Hill before moving to Hopatcong 23 years ago. He was a self-employed CADD Designer. Michael was a volunteer baseball and softball coach with the Hopatcong Little League and served on its board. He coached the Hopatcong Recreation Boys and Girls Basketball and was a volunteer for the NJ Spirit Softball for 7 years serving as its president for the last 5 years. Beloved husband of Susan (nee: Hadyka). Devoted father of Cole Thomas and Kaylee Patricia. Loving son of William Sr. and Theresa (nee: Dowd). Cherished brother of William Jr. and his wife Janet, Geralyn Lamb and her companion Patrick, Andrew and his wife Maria and the late Thomas Wayne. Dear brother-in-law of Teddy, Jonathan, Richard and Adam. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday September 17 at 11:30AM at St. Jude RC Church, 40 Maxim Drive, Hopatcong. All are invited to meet directly at church. Cremation will be private. Visiting will be held on Friday September 16 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing.
