Obituary of Mary Rose Freddo

Mary Rose (nee: Whelan) Freddo of Bristow, VA passed away peacefully Thursday August 4, 2011 at home. She was 57. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Sparta before moving to Bristow, VA one year ago. She retired as Director of Systems Security for Prudential in Roseland where she was employed for 35 years. Mary Rose was an avid bike rider who loved adventure and travel. She enjoyed shopping, fast cars and being a Jersey Girl. Mary's greatest love was her family. She served as a Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Sparta and Holy Trinity Church in Virginia. Devoted mother of Kristi Connors-Bush and Jaclyn Freddo. Loving grandmother of Paige Connors. Dear sister of Patrick, James, Joseph and Christopher Whelan, Anne Markovski, Teresa Greer, Margaret Coleman and Michelle Whelan-Blake and all their spouses. Cherished daughter of the late Thomas James and the late Marilyn (nee: Tremblay) Whelan. Survivors also include many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
