Obituary of John J. Guerra

John J. Guerra of Netcong passed away Friday July 15, 2011 at the Morris View Health Care Center, Morristown. He was 87. Born in Netcong, he was a lifelong resident. He was a boiler plant equipment mechanic for Picattiny Arsenal in Dover for 35 years before his retirement in 1991. A World War II Army veteran, he served 3 years with the Third Army under General Patton in Germany. John was a parishioner of St. Michael's RC Church in Netcong. He was an usher for the church for 35 years and was a member of the Netcong Sports Club. He is predeceased by a brother Anthony and 4 sisters: Vincetta DeMeo, Mary Tedeski, Virginia Roloson and Theresa Fair. Beloved husband of Angie (nee: Togno). Devoted father of John W. and his wife Dawn of Newton. Dear brother of Sam and Lester (both of Landing) and Carmella Gentile of Netcong.
