Obituary of William J. Oswald

William J. Oswald of Stanhope died Sunday July 10 at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover. He was 61. Born in Dover to the late William H. and Marie Oswald he resided there until 1984 when he moved to Stanhope. He earned his bachelor's degree from NJIT in computer science & electronics. Mr. Oswald was employed at Komline-Sanderson in Peapack since 2010. Prior to that he worked as an engineering manager at North Atlantic Industries in Hackettstown from 1977-1987, then at Warren County Vocational Technical School as an electronics instructor from 1989-1999 and at Pokorny Sales and Service in Lake Hopatcong from 1999-2010. He held an Amateur Extra Class Ham Radio License (WT2V) and was a passionate participant in the ham radio community. Bill was an avid bowler and devoted to the Morris County Bowling Association. Having served more than 10 years, he was a Past President and Hall of Fame Member of the Morris County Bowling Association. Survivors include his spouse Annette J (nee Lamberto), his dear friend Sonja Lieberman, his brother David P. and his spouse Lizette and his nephew William J. "Willy".
