Obituary of Theresa Mary VonDerHeide

Theresa VonDerHeide passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Morristown Memorial Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Terry was born on June 10, 1956 to Frank and Helen Zarnay in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Hopatcong, New Jersey in 1970. She graduated from Hopatcong High School in 1974, where she met her husband Barry VonDerHeide. They married shortly after graduation and made their home in Parsippany before moving to Roxbury Township. After graduation, Terry joined Morristown Memorial Hospital as a Medical Surgical Technician. She enrolled in County College of Morris' nursing program and graduated in 1980. Over the next thirty-seven years, she held many nursing positions in the hospital's surgical services department, most recently as a nurse coordinator, and later in hospital administration as a billing compliance nurse. Terry is survived by her husband Barry, their son Glenn of Wilmington, NC, her parents Frank and Helen Zarnay of Andover, two sisters Barbara Peloquin of Mt. Olive Twp. and Patricia Fox of East Stroudsburg, PA, a brother Michael and his wife Deborah of Acworth, GA, seven nephews and two nieces.
