Obituary of Marie Parente

Marie Parente of Budd Lake, Formerly of Port Morris, died Tuesday June 21 at her home. She was 86. Born in the Port Morris section of Roxbury Township, she resided there for 53 years before moving to the Budd Lake section of Mt. Olive 12 years ago. She was a member of the NJ State Fireman's Ladies Auxiliary and the Roxbury Fire Co. #2 Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Forever Young Seniors of Roxbury Twp. Mrs. Parente was predeceased by her son Harry, a brother Sam Tufano and three sisters Tessie Sibilia, Josephine Rotile and Carmella Doyle. Devoted wife of 65 years of Pete, loving mother of Lucille Flatt & her husband Bill, beloved grandmother of Lynn Gonzalez and her husband Joe and Dawn Leach and her husband Adam, adoring great grandmother of Joey Gonzalez, dearest sister of Stella Bencivengo, Ann Pugsley, Harry Tufano and Mike Tufano.
