Obituary of James Carl Henderson

James Carl Henderson of Landing passed away Friday, June 10, 2011 at home. He was 62. Born in Nurnberg, Germany while his father was serving in the United States Army, James lived in Rockaway before moving to the Landing section of Roxbury Twp. 27 years ago. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1971. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Bronze Star. He worked as a controller for CM Furnaces Inc. in Bloomfield. James enjoyed business and home computers. Beloved husband of Joyce, loving father of Lindsay Natale and her husband Mike and Carl James. Dear brother of Steven, Larry and his wife Pam, Doris Jean Howard and her husband Greg and the late Harry Henderson. He is also survived by his cherished companion dog Jessie. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 10:00am at Our Lady of the Lake RC Church, Mt. Arlington. All are invited to meet directly at church. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, June 13 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9pm at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ.
