Obituary of Richard W. Edwards

Richard W. Edwards died Saturday May 28 at St. Clare's Hospital Dover Campus. He was 65 years old. Born in Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, Richard grew up in Bergenfield and has resided in Hopatcong for the last 40 years. He was a US Naval veteran serving from 1963-69. He worked as an insulator for Heat & Frost Insulators Local #32 in Newark. Richard was an avid hunter & fisherman and a member of the Glenwood Rod & Gun Club of Lookout, PA. His favorite pastime was gardening. Loving husband of 43 years of Linda C. (Logue), beloved father of Michael & his wife Dawn and Scott & his wife Suzanne, adoring grandfather of Trevor Richard, Reilly Rose and Gavin James and dear brother of George and his wife Pat. Cremation will be private. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial gathering on Thursday June 2 from 6-8 pm at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing.
