Obituary of Estelle Caputo

Estelle F. (Fran) Caputo, of Hopatcong, passed away on Sunday December 14 at Morristown Medical Center. She was 70. Born in Newark on April 25, 1944, Fran resided in Hopatcong for more than 40 years. She worked at Direct Mail Service in Dover and Lakeland Pharmacy in Netcong. Fran was a parishioner of St. Michael's Church in Netcong where she served as an Adorer of St. Michael's Adoration Chapel. Devoted wife of the late Gerald A. (2006), loving mother of Linda Vasquez and husband, Ralph, Karen Cohen, Tracy Caputo and companion, Joe Magrini and Michael Caputo and wife, Dawn, adoring grandmother of John, Alyson, Christopher, Cassidy, Victoria, Brett, Antonia, Olivia, Steven, Giana and Brayden and dear sister of Margaret Tarantino and the late Florence Fort. Also surviving are many cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Fran's Life Celebration on Thursday December 18 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday December 19 beginning at 9:30 am at St. Michael's Church in Netcong. Fran will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover immediately following the conclusion of Mass.
