Obituary of John Caffrey

John "Frank" Caffrey, of Landing, died Wednesday March 9 at his home. He was 82. Born in Dublin, Ireland he resided in Paterson, NJ prior to moving to the Landing section of Roxbury Township 37 years ago. He worked as a sprinkler fitter for automatic sprinklers local # 696 in Newark, NJ. Mr. Caffrey was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake RC Church in Mt. Arlington and the owner of Eire's Irish Gifts located in the Ledgewood Mall where he enjoyed his time talking with customers. Devoted husband of Ann N. Beloved father of James and his wife Tammy, Eire Jekonski and her husband John and the late Padraic Pearse (2003). Loving grandfather of Roark, Juliana and Jack.
