Obituary of Ida Scoca

Ida Scoca of Mt. Arlington, beloved daughter of Ralph and Elsia Testa, entered eternal rest on Friday April 10, 2015 at home. She was 92. Born in Ridgewood NY, she lived in Lynbrook NY prior to moving to Mr. Arlington, NJ where she lived with her niece and nephew Rosanne and George Schaefer. Devoted mother of the late John and wife of the late Tony. Dear sister of Ralph Testa and the late Francis Parisi, Sal Testa, Marie Forcina and Vincent Testa. She was loved by all her nieces and nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews and her Goddaughter Marie Papiro A sales associate with Macy's in New York prior to her retirement, Ida enjoyed playing cards (especially poker), the Belmont Race Track and bocce and Rummicub. Ida's Life Celebration will include visiting on Sunday April 12 from 2-4PM & 7-9PM and Monday April 13 from 2-4PM & 7-9PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday April 14 at 10:00AM at Our Lady of the Lake RC Church in Mt. Arlington followed by burial in the Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury NY.
