Obituary of Marilyn A. Ammiano

Marilyn A. Ammiano, age 74, of Hopatcong, NJ passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Marilyn was born June 13, 1940 in Paterson, NJ. She was the daughter of the late William P. and the late Geraldine Reuss. She was an elementary school teacher for the Hopatcong Borough School System for 28 years before retiring. Marilyn resided in Hopatcong, NJ for the past 43 years. She was a longtime member of the Christian Faith Fellowship Church in Franklin, NJ and a leader in the church's Roaring 50's Club. She was a volunteer voting assistant with the board of elections in Hopatcong. Her greatest love and joy in life was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her five devoted children; Steven, David & his wife, Donna, Thomas & his wife, Barbara, Laureen & her husband, Bruce and Eileen, and her cherished eleven grandchildren; Eryn, Gabriella, Caleb, Christian, Sabella, Hannah, Natalie, Chloe, Jillian, Shane and Cecilia. Additional survivors include her brother, William and his wife, Janet, three nephews and a niece. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Samuel in 2008. Marilyn's Life Celebration will include visitation on Saturday, December 13th from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered at 7:30 pm also at the funeral home.
