Obituary of Dennis Kowalski

Dennis Kowalski of Lake Hopatcong died Thursday December 9, 2010 at Valley Hospital, Ridgewood. He was 68. Born in Brooklyn NY, he lived in Boonton before moving to Lake Hopatcong over 40 years ago. He was a Vice-President with Newton Trust in Newton before retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Sparta, a member and past president and vice-president of Rotary in Stanhope, a parishioner and the 1st Eucharistic Minister of Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Church in Lake Hopatcong and a parishioner and Eucharistic Minister of Sacred Heart RC Church, Dover. Dennis was an avid boater on the waters of Lake Hopatcong. He is predeceased by his 1st wife Mary Kowalski (1996) and a grandson Antonio Accavallo (2007). Beloved husband of Genevieve "Gen" Kowalski. Devoted father of Christopher Kowalski, John Kowalski, Lori Kircher and her husband Glenn and Keri Accavallo and her husband Anthony. Dear step-father of Claudine Ellis and her husband Alan and William Sylvester and his wife Pam. Loving grandfather of Jake, Bobby, Olivia, Emily, Annabel, Eve, Dylan and Bennett.
