Obituary of Michele Aue

Michele Aue (aka Bree Jackson) died Sunday November 7 at her home in Hopatcong surrounded by her loving family. She was 62 years old. Born in Staten Island, NY, Michele resided in Hopatcong since 1974. She was a parishioner of St. Jude's Church in Hopatcong, enjoyed cooking, loved the ocean and beach vacations and was especially fond of spending time with her family on vacations to the Lake George Region of New York State. Michele's life passion was music & singing. From a young age she displayed a beautiful voice. As a teenager, she was a member of the prestigious All City Chorus of New York and performed at Lincoln Center. For over 45 years, Michele developed a wonderful musical repertoire in classical, gospel, contemporary and jazz. She sang professionally in night clubs and fine restaurants for many years and was invited to join The Vocal Society where she performed at famous venues like the Village Vanguard, The Duplex, The Halfnote and Studio Rivbea. Michele was also a video producer producing, most notably, a documentary about Waterloo Village. She continued to promote jazz musicians throughout New Jersey through her last days and her wonderful voice will be missed by family and friends. Devoted wife of George, loving mother of Scott & his wife Tina of Lafayette and Mathew of Hopatcong, dearest sister of Elena Altilio of San Diego, CA, Andrea Thompson of Inverness, FL and Fred Pelletier of Mahopac, NY, beloved daughter of the late David & Helen Pelletier.
