Obituary of Donald Ross Lindsay

Donald Ross Lindsay, Jr. of Andover, died Friday October 29, 2010 at Barn Hill Care Center, Newton. He was 82. Born in Rockford IA, he lived most of his life in Livingston. He has lived in Andover, for the past 4 years, previously living in Powatan VA. He was a Tool and Die maker for Gebauer Tool & Die in Livingston, and Automatic Switch in Florham Park. He enjoyed sailing, fishing, bowling and roller skating. He enjoyed working with his hands building various things including dune buggies, go carts, boats and radio controlled airplanes, boats and cars. Beloved husband of the late Ethel (1983) and the Late Dorothy (2005). Devoted father of Scott Lindsay and his wife Jan of Lewisburg TN, Glen A. Lindsay and his wife Lynn of Jefferson and Dee McDevitt and her husband Shawn of Andover. Devoted step-father of Leonard Pisaniello and his wife Carol of Fair Lawn, Johnie Pisaniello and his wife Denise of Midlothian VA and Rita Tracey and her husband Thomas of Powatan VA (formerly of Fair Lawn). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 3 step-great grandchildren and 1 step-great great grandchild.
