Obituary of Edward M. Agapito

Edward M. Agapito, 87, of Hopatcong, passed away at home on Sunday August 3, 2014. Edward was born in Brooklyn, NY and resided there before moving to Hopatcong 22 years ago. He worked as a property manager for Galbreath-Ruffin in New York City before retiring. Edward served proudly in the 511th Airborne Infantry Regiment during the Korean War from 1950-1952. Survivors include a son, John and his wife, Zisca, a daughter Michelle Roe and her husband, Tom, four grandchildren, Corey and Amanda Roe and Chase and Angelique Agapito and a sister, Dorothy Angelillo. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Edward's Life Celebration on Wednesday August 6 from 5-8 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. Military funeral honors will begin at 7:45 pm at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
