Obituary of Harry Edwards II
Harry "Dick" Edwards II died Thursday, October 7, 2010 at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover. He was 61.
Born in Newark, NJ, Mr. Edwards grew up in Livingston before moving to Hopatcong in 1976. He was a Tool & Dye Maker for EPM in Fairfield and a Driver/Technician for MTR in Bridgewater. An Army Veteran, Mr. Edwards served overseas in Vietnam from 1968 to 1970 as a Specialist Four. He received the Army Commendation Medal awarded by President Richard Nixon, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, 25th Anniversary Commemorative Medal and the Distinguished Service Medal awarded by New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine.
Beloved husband of Maryann (nee:D'Agnilli). Loving father of Thomas Richard Edwards and his wife Peggy, Danielle Iadarola and her husband Michael. Dear brother of Patricia Vitale. Adoring grandfather of Sean, Rose, Patrick and Payton.
