Obituary of George F. McNicholas

George F. McNicholas, Sr., 89, of Stanhope died Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Merry Heart Care Center, Succasunna. Born in Harrison. He lived in Succasunna for 34 years, then moved to Florida before moving to Stanhope in 1996. He worked as a Union Electrician for many years then became Director of Buildings and Grounds for the Roxbury School Board of Education until his retirement. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, of 59 years, Alice M. (nee: Coward) McNicholas, his sons, George F. Jr. And Douglas McNicholas. His siblings, James, William, Janet and Dennis McNicholas and grandson, Anthony. He is survived by his daughters, Alice M. McNicholas, Elizabeth J. Nagel and her husband, Mark, son, Richard H. McNicholas and his wife, Kathy. Brothers, Robert and Frank McNicholas, 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
