Obituary of Joyce DeFranco

Joyce (nee: Scachetti) DeFranco of Rockaway died Friday June 11, 2010 at Merry Heart Care Center, Boonton Twp. She was 69. Born in Jersey City, she was raised in Flanders and was a graduate of Roxbury High School. She has lived in Rockaway for 45 years. She was a homemaker. Beloved wife of Gerard (whom she married in July 1960). Devoted mother of Mary Ann Ryes, Joseph DeFranco and Regina Frost. Dear sister of Louis Scachetti and his wife JoAnn. Loving grandmother of Melissa, Matthew, Nickie and Nicholas DeFranco, Michael Frost and the late Anthony DeFranco (1999). Cherished daughter of the late Louis and Beatrice (nee: Cece) Scachetti.
