Obituary of Betty J. Murphy

Betty J. Murphy, age 69, of Hopatcong, NJ died Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Kindred Care of Dover, NJ surrounded by her loving family.. Betty was born May 16, 1945 in Newark, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and the late Lucy (Mills) Eismen. Betty enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and to Atlantic City. She resided in Hopatcong, NJ for the past 50 years. Betty was a lab technician and was employed by Cargill Labs in Cedar Knolls, NJ many years. She graduated Sparta High School in 1963. She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, John T. Murphy, her devoted daughter, Renee Eisman and her brother, Robert Eisman. Additional survivors include her nephews; Daniel & James Guarino and Robert & Edward Eisman and her cherished grand puppies; Cosmo & Angel. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Darlene Guarino. Betty's Life Celebration will include visitation on Tuesday, December 2nd from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850.
