Obituary of Isabella Carozza

Isabella Carozza, 95, of Mt. Arlington passed away on May 5, 2015 at Holly Manor Nursing Home in Mendham, NJ. Born in Yonkers, NY, on June 19, 1919 to the late Anthony and Martha Carozza, Isabella resided in Stony Point, NY prior to moving to Mt. Arlington 18 years ago. She worked as an operator for New York Bell Telephone in Yonkers, NY before retirement. Isabella was a passionate sports fan and enjoyed watching baseball, football and hockey. In addition to her parents, Isabella was predeceased by two brothers, Fred and Tom Carozza and a sister, Concetta Arruda. Survivors include her dear sister, Irene Rinaldi, a brother, Dominick Carozza and many loving nieces and nephews. Isabella's Life Celebration will include visiting on Thursday May 7 from 4-8 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday May 8 beginning at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 8 Windemere Avenue, Mt. Arlington, NJ 07856. All are invited to meet directly at church before Mass. Isabella will be laid to rest at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Township.
