Obituary of William Carlson

William Carlson died Wednesday, February 24 at his home. He was 80 years old. Born in Bronx, NY, Mr. Carlson resided in Flanders, NJ and in Punta Gorda, FL before moving to Mt. Olive Twp. 3+ years ago. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1948-1952. He volunteered with the Flanders Fire Dpartment, the Charlotte County, FL Sheriff's Department and the Salvation Army in Punta Gorda, FL. Mr. Carlson worked at Bell Labs in Murray Hill, NJ. Loving husband of the late Dolores (2006). Beloved father of Andrew and his wife Carolyn and Carol Englehardt and her husband Bill. Adoring grandfather of Matthew Carlson and BJ Englehardt. Dearest brother of Helen Beransky and her husband John. Arrangements are being conducted privately.
